The Hamilton of its day, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s groundbreaking first collaboration
launched the Golden Age of American musicals! Set in a Western territory at the turn of the 20th century, this timeless classic follows Curly, a charming cowboy, and Laurey, an independent farm girl, as they navigate a love story as unpredictable as the open prairie. Along the way, the flirtatious Ado Annie and earnest Will Parker add humor and heart to a vibrant tale of love, courage, and a young nation’s hopeful spirit. Features beloved songs like Surrey with the Fringe on Top, Kansas City, I Cain’t Say No, and that unforgettable title song!
