Have Yourself a Buddy Holly Jolly Christmas!

Celebrate the Holidays with Todd Meredith & The Rave-Ons, and a Very Special CRT Homecoming!

Give yourself a holiday treat , and bring your friends and family along for the fun! CRT is thrilled to welcome back one of its most beloved audience favorites, Todd Meredith & The Rave-Ons, for two unforgettable holiday concerts! And this year, the celebration is especially meaningful!

As CRT’s longtime Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson prepares to step down at the end of 2026 after 26 remarkable years, what better way to celebrate his legacy than by bringing back a group that has become such an important part of CRT’s history?

It’s a relationship that goes back 20 years! Todd Meredith’s professional career began at CRT in 2006 as a performing intern. His remarkable resemblance to Buddy Holly, in both looks and sound, eventually led to CRT’s record-breaking 2013 production of Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story, in which Todd starred while also serving as Music Director, as well as Co-Director alongside Kerby.

The Rave-Ons returned in May 2015 to headline the very first concert at the grand opening of CRT Downtown! Since then, Todd has delighted Cortland audiences with numerous return engagements. In fact, at their December 2024 appearance, Kerby surprised the group by announcing their induction into the CRT Hall of Fame!

Now, for one of the final special events of Kerby’s CRT tenure, Todd and the guys are coming home for the holidays! It will be a high-energy celebration filled with the timeless sounds of Buddy Holly, rock-and-roll favorites, holiday cheer, and plenty of musical memories!

And There’s Even More to Celebrate!

Both concerts will also serve as holiday fundraisers to benefit CRT! Each performance will feature a mini-silent auction filled with last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers, festive wine-grab bags, and a 50/50 raffle! It’s a great way to finish your holiday shopping while supporting professional theatre in Central New York!

So, gather your friends, bring the family, and celebrate the season, Buddy Holly Jolly style! Join us for fantastic music, holiday fun, cherished memories, and a heartfelt celebration of the special bond between CRT and The Rave-Ons!
