The Box Office at the Little York Pavilion will be open 90min prior to all scheduled performances.

All single ticket sales are final. No refunds are available; however, ticket holders may exchange tickets to another performance for a $5 fee.

To order tickets online via this website, select the particular show and click on the “Buy Tickets” button.  Choose the performance and ticket price, and you will be shown the options of which seats are available for that day and price.   If the show is sold out or not available for sales yet, you will be told that tickets are not available.

Sales made online will have additional charges, which are clearly added before customers are asked to enter credit card numbers.  Customers may opt to not pay the online fee by ordering tickets via phone or in person.  All in-person and phone orders will incur a 4% technology if paying with credit card. You may avoid this fee by paying with cash or check. CRT is not responsible for online additional fees paid by the customer, as the fee is clearly added before purchase is approved.

**Don’t be “scalped”!** CortlandRep.org and ETix.com are the ONLY two websites that legitimately sell CRT tickets.  All other websites raise the prices considerably, but the extra charge goes to the scalpers, not CRT or ETix.  Don’t overpay!

“CRT DOWNTOWN” Single Ticket Rates

To purchase tickets online for CRT Downtown performances in Fall/Winter/Spring, click on the photo for that show, then click on the “Buy Tickets” button.  Tickets are available online at least three weeks prior to performances. Some exceptions apply.

YOUTH FLEX PASS: For individuals 22 years of age and under; A Youth Flex Pass contains 2 tickets for $42.00.  These may be used for any summer show(s) at any performance. Flex Passes are available for purchase any time, but specific seats can only be chosen after the Box Office opens for summer sales.

$15.00 OPENING NIGHT TICKETS: A limited number of side seats, if still available, may be purchased for $15.00 on each summer Opening Night.  These tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis, from 4:30 – 7:30PM the day of performance and must be purchased IN PERSON at CRT Downtown from 4:30 – 6:00, or the Little York Pavilion, from 6:00 – 7:30. Limit 2 tickets per person.

FIRST THURSDAY:  EDUCATORS DISCOUNT NIGHT – All active teachers, faculty and staff of schools, colleges and libraries may purchase a pair of tickets for $64.00 for the first Thursday performance of each show.  Proof of current employment required. Seating subject to availability.

FIRST SATURDAY: “40 BELOW” DATE NIGHT – Individuals between the ages of 18 – 40 may purchase a pair of tickets for $54 for the first Saturday of any summer production.  Proof of age may be required. Seating subject to availability.

Discounts can not be combined or applied to previously purchased tickets.

Once purchased, individual tickets can not be refunded, but may exchanged for a $5 fee.

The CRT Flex Pass lets you pick the shows and dates you want to attend. They may be used as you choose – as single tickets, as pairs of tickets, or any combination that suits your needs. To redeem your Flex Pass, simply contact the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the performances you wish to attend, and you’ll be offered the best available seats.

However… Please plan ahead – don’t wait until the last minute to redeem your Flex Pass! Seating is subject to availability and not guaranteed until order is placed. Some shows are very popular and may sell out in advance. If a particular performance is sold out, Flex Pass purchasers must choose a different performance.

CORTLAND REPERTORY THEATRE TICKET POLICIES

Exchange/Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Single ticket sales are not refundable.  With 24-hour notice, ticket holders may exchange tickets for a different night within the run of the same show. There is a $5 fee exchange fee for single-ticket holders.

Plan ahead!

Individuals with Gift Certificates or Flex Passes are not guaranteed a seat at any given performance until they redeem their certificate or pass with the box office. Don’t wait until the last minute! Please don’t assume that our shows will always have seats available! Some shows may be very popular and may sell out in advance. If a particular performance is sold out, Gift Certificate redeemers and Flex Pass Subscribers must choose a different performance if they cannot be accommodated and will forfeit the Flex Pass or Gift Certificate unless another performance is chosen. Gift Certificates and Flex Passes are only valid for the current season.

Group Sales

Children

We welcome children old enough to enjoy our productions, but stress that tickets must be purchased for all children. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to very young children.

Accessibility

The theatre at the Little York Pavilion is wheelchair accessible. A lift, operated by CRT staff and volunteers, is located in the north stair tower at the top of the handicapped accessible ramp. The theatre can accommodate up to six wheelchairs, with companion seating, at any performance. Please inform the box office of your needs when ordering tickets.

Plus Seating

“Plus Seating” is available in a variety of locations throughout the theatre. These seats are 3″ wider for those audience members who would like to take advantage of this opportunity. Please inform the box office of your needs when ordering tickets.

Hearing Impaired Listening System

For the hearing impaired, a listening system is available at the box office. The use of this device is free of charge; however, you will be asked to leave a form of ID or a credit card at the Box Office.

Sign Language Interpretation

Sign Interpretation of our shows is available the second Saturday of each performance, with at least a month’s advance request.

Accessibility
Both the Little York Pavilion and CRT Downtown comply with the ADA requirements for accessibility.

If wheelchair accommodations are needed, please be sure to request this when purchasing tickets.

Little York Pavilion:  The theatre in the Pavilion is located on the second floor and is accessible by a lift operated by CRT staff members and volunteers. The lift is located in the stairwell at the top of the first-floor ramp on the west side of the building.  On the second floor, the wheelchair accessible theatre entrance is located on the west side of the building, a few feet away from the lift.  12 seats total are available for wheelchair seating in the front row, with companions, on two sides of the stage. The front row seats are also all accessible for individuals with walkers or canes; the rest of the seats are up one to five steps.  CRT requests, for the safety of other audience members and actors, that ushers are allowed to remove walkers during the performance; they will be returned directly following the show.  Please be aware that the rest rooms for the Pavilion are only located on the FIRST floor of the building.

CRT Downtown:  Select seats are provided for wheelchair seating at CRT Downtown, though the exact locations of these seats may change as the seating configuration varies from show to show. Please check with the Box Office staff when purchasing tickets as to exact locations of wheelchair seating.

“Plus” Size Seating
Select aisle seats at the Little York Pavilion are “Plus” size seating to accommodate those guests who wish to take advantage of this opportunity.  Please request this seating when purchasing tickets.

Aisles
Little York Pavilion: For safety and as a courtesy to performers and other ticketholders, please do not sit or stand in the aisles.

CRT Downtown: Because of a variety of seating arrangements possible at CRT Downtown, we ask our audience members to be mindful of other ticketholders around them.  Please tuck chairs under the tables if moving from your seat.  Please keep the areas around your tables open as much as possible to allow other ticketholders to move from their seat if necessary.

Alcohol Management
Little York Pavilion:  Alcoholic beverages are not sold during our summer performances.  No outside beverages of any kind are allowed inside the theatre.

CRT Downtown: For most events at CRT Downtown, beer and wine is available for purchase. No one under 21 years of age will be served. The Cortland Repertory Theatre staff and volunteers are trained in the Alcohol Training Awareness Program for responsible alcohol management. All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside CRT Downtown. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest. Please be aware that it is the policy of Cortland Repertory Theatre to require all guests who appear to be forty (40) years of age or younger to present a valid form of ID with proof of age in order to purchase alcoholic beverages at CRT Downtown. Pursuant to applicable state law, Cortland Repertory Theater will accept a valid driver’s license, a non-driver identification card issued by the United States Government or State Government, a valid passport or a valid U.S. military ID as proper forms of I.D.

Assisted Listening Devices
Both the Little York Pavilion and CRT Downtown are equipped with FM frequency assisted listening devices.  These devices are available at the Box Office during events at both Cortland Repertory Theatre locations. You will be required to leave valid identification such as a driver’s license as collateral, and upon return of the device in the same condition, your collateral will be returned. There is no charge for this service.  You may use your own headphones as well.  Neck loops are available that are compatible with our listening devices.

Bag Searches
Cortland Repertory Theatre asks all guests to arrive early and travel light. If a concern is raised, persons and bags are subject to search.  Please note that no outside food or beverages are allowed in either location of Cortland Repertory Theatre.

Box Office Hours at CRT Downtown:

Fall/Winter/Spring:  Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and Saturdays from noon – closing whena performance is scheduled for that evening.

Cameras & Recording Devices
Video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices, cell phone video cameras, and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses are not permitted inside either Cortland Repertory Theatre location during plays. This policy will be strictly enforced.  Some concerts at CRT Downtown may allow photography and brief video recording, and this will be stated at the beginning of the concert.  However, flash photography at all times is strictly prohibited.

Cancelled / Postponed Events
Cortland Repertory Theatre rarely cancels or postpones events. However, should the decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be posted on our website, Facebook page and Twitter account as soon as we receive it. Please continue to check our website and call our main information telephone line for the latest, up-to-the-minute information.  In such situations, refunds and exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Cell Phones
Cell phones MUST be turned off for all Cortland Repertory Theatre performances.  We ask that they are turned off, not placed on silence, vibrate or in airplane mode, so that they won’t create possible static in our sound system.

Coat Check
Little York Pavilion:  There is no bag or coat check at the Pavilion. Please note that backpacks and other large bags are not permitted into the theatre; ticketholders are asked to leave such items in their vehicles.

CRT Downtown:  A free bag/coat check is available. Tips are accepted and benefit the CRT Guild.  Please note that backpacks and other large bags are not permitted into the theatre. For the comfort, safety and security of all patrons, all such items must be checked. Smaller purses are permitted.

Code of Conduct
Please be courteous and mindful of our fellow guests with whom you are sharing this experience.  Audience courtesy includes arriving on time, behaving in a manner appropriate to the performance, using the intermission (not during the performance, if possible) to visit the rest rooms if needed and refreshment counter if desired so as not to disturb other audience members, and returning to your seat after intermission when the lights are flashed, or the bell has rung.

CRT Downtown: We ask all guests to be respectful of others around them. Any guest who interferes with the enjoyment of another individual during an event is subject to ejection from the building. Depending on the demographics of certain events (such as concerts), ticketholders are allowed to visit the refreshment counter during the act, provided that they do so without disturbing their fellow audience members.

In both locations, kneeling or standing on seats or any building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the event.

Concessions
Our concession stands offer a variety of beverage and snack options, including coffee, bottled water, cookies and various snack candies.  Proceeds from all sales benefit the fund-raising efforts of the Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild.  At some CRT Downtown events, popcorn and pretzels may also be available for purchase as well as beer and wine. We ask that you use cash to purchase your snacks. Outside food and beverage, including water, are prohibited

Can I take concessions into the theatre?
Little York Pavilion: Bottled water is allowed in the theatre; coffee/soda and other beverages are not. Pre-packaged snacks purchased at the refreshment counters, are allowed in the theatre, though we do ask audience members to be mindful of noise and disturbance of your fellow audience.

CRT Downtown: Bottled water is allowed in the theatre.  The allowance of other beverages and snacks vary from show to show.  Please check with the volunteers at the refreshment counters to clarify.

Doors for events at both Cortland Repertory Theatre locations typically open one-half hour prior to event start time.

Dress Code
Unless otherwise noted, Cortland Repertory Theatre does not have a formal dress code. We do ask, however, that you use your best personal judgment when dressing for an event.  During cooler summer evenings at the Little York Pavilion, a sweater is suggested.

Drinking Fountains
Little York Pavilion: There are no drinking fountains available at the Little York Pavilion.  Please be aware that the Pavilion is located in a County Park and is owned by Cortland County.  Concerns about the building and park should be addressed to the Cortland County Highway Department.

CRT Downtown: There are two drinking fountains are located outside the rest rooms.

Emotional Support Animals
An emotional support animal may only be used at our facilities by persons with a diagnosed mental or emotional disorder.  While the animal may or may not have specific training for that function, it must be trained to behave appropriately in a public setting.   Animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual who brought the animal, rather than in the aisle.  A guest whose animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees, or whose animal is not housebroken, may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Exchanges & Refunds
Single tickets for all Cortland Repertory Theatre events are sold on a non-refundable basis. Single tickets may be exchanged for a different performance of the same show for a $5.00 fee, if made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled performance. Subscribers and flex pass purchasers are allowed to exchange tickets for a small fee, at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled performance. There are no refunds for missed performances. Please consult your calendar before you purchase tickets so as to avoid unnecessary costs.

First Aid
Our Box Offices have emergency assistance kits, with band-aids, alcohol swabs, aspirin, etc.  A defibrillator is located in the box office at the Little York Pavilion, and in the Stage Manager’s booth at CRT Downtown.

Flash Photography
Flash photography inside both of Cortland Repertory Theatre’s location is prohibited at all times. Flash photography is not only distracting to the performers, but to your fellow patrons as well.

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, handbills or printed materials is not permitted without written permission of Cortland Repertory Theatre. In addition, vending, peddling or product sampling is not allowed.

Inclement Weather
Cortland Repertory Theatre rarely cancels or postpones events due to inclement weather. Intermissions
Most shows at CRT have one 15-minute intermission.  Please use this time to visit the rest rooms or refreshment counter, rather than during the performance.  On rare occasions, a show may be performed without an intermission. This will be noted in the playbill insert for that production.

Late Arrivals
To cause the least amount of disruption to the performance, the live performers and to other patrons, late comers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager or ushers.  Late comers may not be seated in their assigned seats until intermission or at an appropriate break in the performance.  Seating in the rear of the theatre is available for later comers until they are able to get to their assigned seats.  Late comer seating may be required for those returning late after intermission as well.

Listening Devices

Lost and Found
If you’ve misplaced an item while you’re still at the theatre, please visit our Box Office or Refreshment Counters. Any items found by ushers or other patrons will be taken to the Box Office. If you have already left the theatre, please call Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office at 800-427-6160 for items lost and we’ll be happy to check our Lost and Found for you.

Lost Tickets
If you have lost or forgotten your tickets, please visit the Box Office on the day of the show with a form of ID and we will be happy to reprint them for you.

Merchandise
Occasionally, Cortland Repertory Theatre has gift items available for purchase at the refreshment counters.  Please check with our volunteer Guild members for what might be available during your visit.

Parking
Little York Pavilion:  There is ample parking at the Pavilion, also suitable for bus parking.

CRT Downtown:  There is a large parking lot next to our theatre, and also parking across the street in the Cortland Youth Bureau parking lot.

Disabled Individual parking spaces are available at both CRT locations.  While not required, those seeking to use these spaces are suggested to arrive early so as to be sure to obtain a convenient parking space.  Please be aware that CRT does not own nor is responsible for the arrangement or maintenance of either parking lot near our theatres.

Prohibited Items
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light. We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items. If a need arises, theatre representatives may conduct person or bag searches. Bags that have passed inspection must fit comfortably under your seat. Amongst items that are prohibited from Cortland Repertory Theatre locations are: weapons, laser pens, signs, banners, oversized bags, outside food and beverage, including water, cans, bottles, alcohol, drugs, video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses.

Re-Entry
Cortland Repertory Theatre’s re-entry policy varies from event to event and differs at each location. If you have any questions regarding re-entry, please speak to an Usher or House Manager PRIOR to exiting the theatre.  If re-entry is allowed during a specific event, the re-entry process will start only after the show has begun. All guests must show their valid ticket to the front door staff before exiting.

Refunds & Exchanges
Single tickets for all Cortland Repertory Theatre events are sold on a non-refundable basis. Rest Rooms
Little York Pavilion:  Rest rooms are located on the FIRST floor of the Little York Pavilion (the theatre is located on the second floor).  Please plan your visit accordingly.  Rest rooms are located on the parking lot side of the building.  There is one uni-sex Disabled Persons rest room.

CRT Downtown:  Rest rooms are located in the front foyer near the entrance to the theatre.

As new shows and performances are frequently added, any printed materials might quickly become outdated. While we do occasional mailings, we handle the majority of our communications via email. Seating Capacity
Little York Pavilion:  Seating capacity is 240.

CRT Downtown: For most events, the seating capacity at CRT Downtown is approximately 250.  However, this capacity does change depending on the seating configuration of that particular show or event.

Seat Locations
Little York Pavilion: Seats are numbered from right to left in the center section, and starting from the aisles on the side sections.  The 100 seats are House Left, the 200 seats are House Right.

CRT Downtown:  Depending on the configuration of the seating and stage, seat numbers may be located on the bottom of the seats.  For cabaret style seating, seat numbers are not applicable.

Security
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light; please avoid bringing unnecessary items. If a need arises, theatre representatives may conduct person or bag searches. Bags that have passed inspection must fit comfortably under your seat. Some items that are prohibited from Cortland Repertory Theatre locations are: weapons, laser pens, signs, banners, oversized bags, outside food and beverage, including water, cans, bottles, alcohol, drugs, video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses.

Service Animals
Service animals are permitted at both Cortland Repertory Theatre locations.  We do ask that if you plan to attend with a service animal that you alert our Box Office to this fact beforehand.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as any dog, such as a guide dog or signal dog that is individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.  This includes psychiatric service animals that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors.  Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle.  A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees, or whose animal is not housebroken, may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Smoking
By law, smoking in all areas of Cortland Repertory Theatre is prohibited. You may smoke outside either of our building, at a minimum distance of 50 feet.  Please be sure to retain your ticket for admittance back into the building.

Talkbacks
During summer performances at the Little York Pavilion, CRT hosts Friday Night Talk Backs after the first Friday evening performance of each production.  Talkbacks include question and answer periods with the actors, designers, technicians and CRT administration.  Those audience members interested in taking part should simply stay in their seats following the performance and the talkback will begin as soon as possible.

Ticket Stubs
Please hold on to your ticket. This is proof that you are in possession of a valid ticket for the event that you are attending and also designates your correct seat location. This information will also help our staff locate your party in the event that you become separated. Cortland Repertory Theatre staff may ask to see your ticket at any time during the event. You will also need to keep your ticket in the rare occurrence an event is cut short for any reason.

Ticket Surcharges
A 4% technology free will be assessed for all sales paid by credit card.  Also, an additional charge is added for online sales, which helps pay for eTix, our online ticket sales company.  These fees do not go to CRT, but rather help lower our expenses. There are no additional fees for in-person sales paid with cash, check or gift certificates.
